Booking your hire car:

To book a car simply give me a call on 07876 563315 or email us on the contact us page. We will check availability and confirm the booking with you by mail. At the point of booking we will send you the hire agreement to sign and collect the hire fee by credit or debit card.

How about a combination of cars, try two or three across a day or a break. We would suggest the two sevens for the ultimate contrast. Part of your day in an Austin Seven and the swap to the outrageous, noisy Caterham Seven. An amazing demonstration of how far motor vehicle engineering has come.

Bookings run from 8.30 am to 6pm at night from our premises.

Delivery to you can be arranged at an extra cost.

Additional drivers can be arranged for a small fee.

Sat navs available for hire for £10 per booking (pre- charged on arrival).

Picnic
Why not ask us to supply you with a lovely picnic in a wicker hamper complete with a picnic basket ready and waiting for your adventure to begin. Menu choices would be emailed to you for pre-order. Our picnic package is only £25 including soft drinks.

How to book...
Simply give us a call or email us on the contact page and we will confirm availability and email over a copy of the hire agreement.

How can I pay for the booking and deposit?
We will take a debit or credit card over the phone at the time of booking for your hire fee. When you collect your car on the day of hire we will take a security deposit on your credit card in case of any damage to the car during your hire. This will be refunded to you as soon as we inspect the car on your return if it is damage free.

Can I change or cancel my booking?
You have 14 days to cancel your booking upon receipt of the hire agreement to get a full refund. Up to 8 weeks before the hire we will happily change the date of your booking free of charge. If you have to cancel between 8 weeks and 14 days of the booking we will issue you with a 50% of your hire price in gift vouchers so we can welcome you back another day. Within 14 days of the hire date no refund can be given.

Can we have more than one Driver?
Of course for a small additional fee of £25.

Can we park our car?
Yes you are very welcome to park your car here it would be totally at your own risk.

Can you deliver the car?
We would be happy to deliver the car to you, please call us for a quote.

Can we use the car for film work?
You are very welcome to do so, please call us to discuss.

What do I need to bring?
You will need to bring your current driving licence for you and any additional drivers (additional drivers must be present), we require a National Insurance number from each driver. We will need a credit card to take a security deposit at the start of each hire. Dont forget your sun hat, sun glasses, sun cream it is hot down here in Kent.

Can you recommend somewhere to go?
We have worked out several circular routes to take in the best of the local countryside and views. Theses will be in a pack in the car for you to use. See the Local information page for many ideas of the brilliant things to do round and about us. We have added places to stay and pubs and restaurants you might like.

Where can we stay?
We have sourced a lovely local hotel and a luxury B &B for you to stay locally to make the most of your stay.

What if the weather is bad?
If the weather would make the hire of our car unsafe we reserve the right to cancel the booking, offering you a full refund or an alternative date. If the weather is just not too great I am afraid that is beyond our control.

Gift vouchers
Are available for a monetary value or an experience, all gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from issue. They cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.

Fuel
We provide the car full of fuel and ask you to bring it back that way, if you would rather not we will charge you upon your return for the used fuel.

Reliability and breakdown
Look guys these are old cars and very special. We maintain our cars to a high standard. We will not hire a vehicle to you with a known safety or reliability issue. However, it is the nature of classic cars that they are less reliable and require more maintenance than your modern car. Similarly, parts supply for such vehicles is not easy. It is therefore important that you accept the increased risk of non-availability or breakdown before or on hire as an inherent element of hiring one of our vehicles.

In the event that we cannot provide the vehicle you have booked for your chosen hire dates. We will do our best to offer you alternative date or an alternative car. If this is not convenient to you we will issue a full refund.

We are not responsible for any consequential loss in any circumstances arising from breakdown or non-availability. Please take specific note of this where your hire is for a wedding or other special occasion. All our cars are covered by full RAC cover just in case.

Insurance and damages
All our cars are fully comprehensively covered.

We require a full UK Clean driving licence . Drivers must be aged 25-79 for insurance reasons. IF you have some motoring offences such as a 3 point speeding offence we can still hire to you, please give us a call so that we can check with the insurance underwriters.
